Geometry Tools

The tools we use in geometry are compass, ruler, and protractors. We use compasses to measure circles and to draw circles, We use rulers measure the length of straight lines, the sides of shapes, and to measure 3-D objects We use protractors to measure angles.Another tool we use are calculators. We use calculators because we need to do some math we can’t do in our head and it helps us do that. We also have cubes that help us find volume in 3-D shapes like rectangular prisms, cubes, and cones.

We use graph paper to make 3-D prisms on paper. We also have triangle tools. We use these tools to make perfect triangle, and measure them. There is try square. Try square are to measure and check the width or length of narrow boards. There is Mira. Mira are red plastic peace that stands. It helps you see the reflections, rotations, sides, and flips. There is dividers too. They are to draw lines and angles.  We use Set square. They are flat plastic or medal used for drawing lines and measuring angles. there isTheodolite is a piece of equipment that is used to measure angles. There is T-squares they are used to make exact parallel lines, and you can use it to make a T shape.

Those are the tools we use for Geometry. Read the other articles to learn more about math.
