It is also important to know shapes and 3-D shapes because everything is a different shape and size.
Here are some other reasons why geometry is important. If you didn’t know your shapes it would be very hard to learn in class and do your geometry homework. Also you need to know your shapes and 3-D shapes to be smart. You wouldn’t be very smart if you didn’t know your shapes and everybody wants to be smart.
Shapes can also be in art. You might not know what shape to use if you were making a piece of art that has shapes in it. If you are going to be an artist using geometry is one way to finish a masterpiece.
You might want to get smarter and learning geometry is a way to be smarter. Geometry could be a way to solve world life problems. There are also measurements and mathematics with shapes. If a government wanted to grow it would need to build lots of factories, stations, and other things and all of that involves geometry. This is why geometry is important.
