Why is Geometry Important?
Have you ever wondered why geometry is here?  Why it’s important?  If you are, then here are some answers.  Geometry is very important because it is in our everyday life.  It is also important to know shapes and 3-D shapes because everything is a different shape and size.
Here are some other reasons why geometry is important.  Geometry is the basis of most forms of math we have today and is the basis of all things that exist.  It lets us measure a different series of things.  It also helps our thinking abilities get better.  One step in understanding how the world is built is understanding geometry.  Certain kinds of geometry, like analytical geometry, help kids with visualization and spatial reasoning skills, which are used with problem solving.
Computer graphics and designs are based on geometry.  Geometry shapes are used to build images.  On a computer, geometry is used to see how to move things without collision in robotics.  Designs for buildings are computer-generated before the building is built.  Planes, cars, maps, homes, skyscrapers, wheels, lights on a car, the pyramids of Egypt, and many more things are made of basic geometric shapes.  Scientists build drugs to change the shape or movement of proteins to treat diseases.
